Eight years ago I was involved with an alcoholic that used to beat me severely. I suffered from a head trauma that has lead to me having daily headaches daily for several years. On July 11, I took a class called The Gifts of God taught by Pastor Tim at Teen Challenge. I knew it was a special class but I walked in like it was just another day. Little did I know that a miracle was about to happen that would totally and completely set me free.
At the end of the class everyone went up to be prayed for, including myself, and I was filled with the Holy Spirit. Pastor Tim said, “Is there anyone suffering with headaches on the right side of your head behind your ear?” When he said that, I felt a ball of fire arise in my chest. I said, “Yes sir, it’s me, I’ve been suffering with headaches for about 8 years. I go forward again for prayer and he asks me if this was caused by someone hitting me. I knew right then that it was God speaking through him, because I had never told Pastor Tim about that. I’ve only been here at Teen Challenge a little over a month.
July 11, 2016 was a life changing experiencing for me, it was the day I was healed. I was filled with so much joy when, after prayer, I opened my eyes and I felt like a brand new person. It actually felt weird because the pain and pressure was gone. I almost didn’t know how to act because for 8 years I had just coped with the pain and pressure in my head. It feels like a ton of bricks have been lifted off my shoulders and chest. Now I believe that I’ll be better able to focus on the relationship with God that I hunger and thirst for because now I don’t have to focus on my pain. I can put my focus on the Word of God! Thank you, Jesus!
