The NFL has made their statement, our president has made his, and many other people have shared their opinion.  The kneeling controversy was started because one man wanted to protest the National Anthem because he did not feel that everyone is treated equal.

The enemy, Satan, has attempted to divide us since the beginning of time (Cain and Abel).  But even with his schemes and attempts, we, as children of God, can still be free.  We can allow anger and hatred into our hearts and allow the enemy to win or instead, we can understand that we serve a mighty God and make our decisions based on His Word and the freedom we have through His son, Jesus.

We must decide and make the choice to love our fellow man, regardless of race, politics, or life-controlling issues.  We should follow the great commandment (Matthew 22:37-38) of Jesus, our Savior, to love the Lord with all our hearts and love our neighbors as ourselves and not give in to the lies of the devil.

Kneel? Yes, and pray! (Psalm 95:6)

Stand? Yes, and be in unity. (1 Corinthians 1:10)

Lock arms? Yes, and forsake not the assembling of yourselves. (Hebrews 10:25)

If we would do all things as unto the Lord, and not to men (Colossians 3:23), politics, or media, we would be a great nation and maybe an equal and united nation.  We can choose to be divided and protest, but that only causes more problems.  Or we can choose to be united and give no place for the devil and his schemes (2 Corinthians 10:11).  God bless America!
