I lived a destructive lifestyle of drugs and prostitution.  Always moving from state to state, I was charged with several felonies within a three-month period.  My addiction to IV drugs put me in the hospital in critical condition.

But God made a way of escape for me the second I called upon His name.  He made a way for me to come to Teen Challenge of the Upper Cumberland.  He has brought purpose and meaning back into my life and taken away every desire for the things of my past.  He has restored broken relationships, and taught me about the power of forgiveness.

Immediately upon arriving at Teen Challenge of the Upper Cumberland, I began to feel the love of God so radically in my life.  He has shown me exactly who I am in Christ and nothing will ever make me forget it.

When I graduate from this program, I would like to help others who are living as I was, bound to addiction.  I would like to teach them about the love God has for His children.  The verse I stand on is, John 5:13, “Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.”
